Business Development Manager - Telephony

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop, coordinate and execute EnGenius' Cordless Telephone and 2-Way Radio Go-to-Market strategy to capture local, regional and national customer specifications and project registrations, working with telecom distributors (e.g., Graybar, Anixter), their sales personnel, as appropriate, to integrate both EnGenius channel sales and distributors'  field sales strategies into the overall market approach utilized in each territory.
  • Work directly with EnGenius Channel Partners (i.e., telecom dealers, consultants, 3rd party alliance partners and solution providers) and Corporate End-Users in providing a higher-level of expertise in assisting with the specification of Cordless Telephone & 2-Way Radio products and solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Leverage the specialized knowledge gained during the process of specifying and managing a specific project with EnGenius' Channel Partners to negotiate and capture future commitment via any types of agreements.
  • Participate in appropriate professional organizations & road shows to enhance lead generation potential.  Arrange and conduct presentations on products and services to potential accounts.
  • Recommend changes to internal and external sales and operating processes to reduce costs and/or to improve service level and present customer needs and concerns to Customer Service Management, Product Management and General Manager.
  • Attain or assist each Territory Sales to exceed monthly sales quota.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABLITIES:
  • Demonstrated history of success in achieving sales objectives. Typically, three or more years of experience in increasingly responsible sales or sales related positions.
  • Superior knowledge of Telecom Voice, or/and IP Security Camera products and services.
  • Fully capable of constructing a customer needs analysis in order to develop and deliver a professional presentation at any level within the customer's organization, including senior management.
  • Ability of reviewing and assessing RFX documentation, recommending a course of action to product management and General Manager, and composing professional proposal documents.
  • Experience in contract review, assessment, and negotiation from both a basic legal and a thorough business perspective is a plus.
  • Must be technically competent with continuing emphasis on Telecom Voice & IP Security industry trends and product applications. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Some travel with overnight stays required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Retail Marketing Specialist

Retail Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of channel marketing programs and provide overall channel marketing support for select Retail and Etail Partners. The position requires close interaction with channel marketing, product marketing, and DMR sales teams. The Retail Channel Marketing Specialist has primary responsibility for the execution of marketing plans to drive sales and profitability for the company within the Retail and Etail channel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Support tactical execution of retail and etail marketing plans, and work with the DMR sales organization to effectively implement Retail programs and initiatives.
  • Assist the Channel Marketing Manager(s) and work closely with DMR sales and marketing team members on various tasks.
  • Develop superior working relationship with key individuals and groups within the company and Retail & Etail Channel Partners. Gain respect and support needed from all parties to ensure results, even when a direct reporting relationship is not present.
  • Design, communicate, implement, monitor, and (if necessary) re-design the critical processes required to ensure goals are consistently achieved for the Retail and Etail Channel. Critical process areas include, but are not limited to: merchandising & cross-merchandising
    planning, promotional programming & sell-thru initiatives, retail & etail partner training and enablement, new product launches and success tracking, retailer & etailer rebates & MDF program, tracking of ROI on various retail & etail marketing programs and initiatives, conducting ROI simulations for promotions, channel programs and special pricing, monitoring of marketing fund utilization and spending.
  • Provide field analysis on key trends, competitive activity, and general marketplace activity.
  • Contribute to the development and subsequent execution of short and long term strategic plans, to include situational analysis, business performance analysis, strategic objectives, tactical plans, critical success factors, as well as budgeting.
  • Coordinate communication across various functions and within functions at the company, and between the company and the Retail & Etail channel.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, to include the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to follow instruction and work in a self-managed capacity.

Test Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Test and report upon new datacom products and firmware.
  • Test and reproduce end-user scenarios to duplicate and identify trouble areas involving firmware and/or hardware.
  • Set-up and maintain test lab.
  • IT support and maintain internal network and system equipment.
  • Assist customer service/technical support team with responding to customer calls and inquires.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABLITIES:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in setting up and maintaining networks (wireless and wired networking).
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent organization and report documentation/writing skills.
  • Network+, CWNA, CCNA or MCP certification strongly preferred.
  • IT network administration/MIS experience preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in computer science preferred.

 

Senior Human Resources Generalist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Coordinate staffing services and recruitment activities, including screening, sourcing, interviewing, background check and reference validation.
  • Conduct salary surveys and handle the development and maintenance of job descriptions and KPIs for all personnel. Coordinate appropriate training to enhance employee performance.
  • Prepare and input payroll data using automated system to assist payroll processing timely and accurately.
  • Maintain employee attendance and absence record.
  • Research benefit plan options and administer employee health, welfare and retirement programs company-wide.
  • Provide administrative support to human resources functions, including new hire orientation, termination, personnel file maintenance, policies & procedures update and announcement, etc.

Major Account Manager
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and close new major named end user accounts and business partners.
  • Manage new product requirements if any, and coordinate with Product Management team for best practices.
  • Report to General Manager and ensure proper communication at all levels.
  • As a creative thinker, determine a customer's needs, put together a win-win product & service proposal and carry it through to contract execution, if applicable. 
  • Seek and add new accounts that will enhance EnGenius’ standing and bottom line. 
  • Seek and bring in new product/market opportunities.
  • Your success will be measured by the number of design wins you gain, market share growth, revenue sales, margins and overall customer satisfaction.  
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABLITIES:
  • Must have major account development and/or OEM experience with networking technology, preferably selling telephony and/or data communications related products.  
  • Familiar with revenue targets and proven Year On Year track record of negotiating and closing deals over $1M.  
  • A self starter who engages management up to C-level within a client base to enhance political alignment.  
  • Competent and experienced in the application of Target Account Selling methodology or other Sales/Business methodologies.
  • Understands the Telecom/Voice, Wi-Fi or/and data communication market issues and trends affecting business and use of IT.
  • Telecom/Voice, IP Data communication background. Wi-Fi or data networking sector experience is desirable.

Account Executive
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work with SMB Account Managers to meet or exceed established sales quota.
  • Recruit and develop new accounts.
  • Train existing accounts and prospects on EnGenius product line.
  • Maintain phone contact with top 50 customers at least once per month and 51-100 at least once per quarter.
  • Setup and maintain customer database; prepare monthly reports on sales progress and attainment of goals.

Product Manager

This position is an individual contributor to the Product Management team at EnGenius. Product Manager works closely with engineering, sales and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Product Manager carries out product planning, marketing and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Define product strategy and roadmap. Develop and execute advertising and promotion plans.
  • Develop and execute all initiatives including identifying and launching new IP networking and IP camera products, packaging and merchandizing, product positioning, sales promotion and pricing, product line management, channel opportunities and growth plans, market research and business analysis and strategy development.
  • Conduct new product development; take the lead in conceiving and developing new consumer products for the category.
  • Project management for all existing and new products including but not limited to: new firmware releases, product testing and new product launch.
  • Monitor category performance to ensure sales volume and profit goals are met.
  • Work hand in hand with the sales team to ensure company objectives are met.
  • Establishe and maintain relationships with internal and external partners; includes industrial and graphic designers, engineering, sales, finance, operations, external manufacturing, other marketing team members and advertising and PR firms among others.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABLITIES:
  • Effective project management and time management skills required. Ability to manage multiple projects and new products at the same time.
