The ENH500 AP/Bridge delivers high-performance, 11n wireless speeds outdoors to 300 Mbps on the less congested 5 GHz band; and is ideal for deployment in heavily populated areas where 2.4 GHz is more prevalent. Less interference assures consistent speeds in more congested environments for digital signage or outdoor POS systems at stadiums and for long-range, point-to-point or point-to-multipoint networks.

Extend & Maximize Wireless Coverage Outdoors, Eliminating Cable Runs

Eliminate the cost of running cable when extending access to remote buildings on the same property. Extend the network over short or long-distances with strong 28dBm output power coupled with high-gain antennas that deliver connectivity up to 1 mile in clear line-of-sight, remote building connections. Its embedded 13dBi directional antenna, with focused beam, extends the network farther building-to-building.



Optimal Performance in Harsh Indoor & Outdoor Environments

Designed to perform in harsh environments, the ENH500, industrial-grade AP features an IP65-rated waterproof and dustproof enclosure that ensures it can withstand extreme outdoor climates and indoor industrial environments. This includes prolonged exposure outdoors to sunlight, extreme cold, frost, snow, rain, hail, heat, and humidity, and indoors where temperature may be a factor.

PoE Port Powers AP & Secondary Port Serves a Remote AP or Networked Device

Two Fast Ethernet ports offer greater flexibility for outdoor deployments. Connect and power the AP with the included PoE kit, via the PoE port, in locations where power outlets are scarce or unavailable, such as under the eaves of roofs, on light poles or in other remote locations. Utilize the secondary data port to connect a remote IP surveillance camera, ancillary access point, or other networked device.

The ENH500 features four (4) operation modes – Access Point, Client Bridge/Router and WDS Bridge mode. This flexibility makes the Access Point/Bridge a versatile solution for IT managers and integrators who need to update or reconfigure their deployments as their network needs dictate. Deploy the ENH500 fast and easy with the included PoE kit and flexible mounting hardware options.

Quickly View, Monitor & Reconfigure Access Points Locally or Remotely

Remotely manage APs/Bridges using SNMP tools or monitor them via EnGenius’ EZ Controller software. APs deployed on rooftops, poles or other difficult to access areas are easily reconfigured, upgraded, and monitored remotely via EZ Controller. Map-View allows installers to upload and view a facility floor plan and identify and monitor all APs on the property. EZ Controller is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems.

Utilizing its internal, focused 13dBi directional antenna beam and 28dBm output power, this Ethernet Bridge extends the network over short or long distances. The ENH500 maximizes speed and wireless performance over the less congested 5 GHz band making it ideal for use in heavily populated areas where 2.4 GHz is more prevalent.

By supporting a variety of outdoor applications, the ENH500 eliminates the cost of running cable when extending access to detached buildings on the same property. Configure the device as an Access Point, Client Bridge, Client Router, or Wireless Distribution System (WDS) Bridge for greater customization in a broad range of deployment scenarios.
