La versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente contiene las mejores mejoras hasta la fecha. Las mejoras se relacionan principalmente con la velocidad de datos de la capa f\u00edsica LE 2M de alta velocidad y la transmisi\u00f3n LE de largo alcance. Este documento se centrar\u00e1 en las pruebas de rendimiento y analizar\u00e1 diferentes configuraciones de par\u00e1metros que causan diferentes resultados de rendimiento. <\/span><br \/>\n<br \/><\/br><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00aeef; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">I. Introducci\u00f3n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">Usamos 2 placas Nordic nRF52840-DK para realizar pruebas de rendimiento. Uno de los tableros act\u00faa como central (maestro) y otro act\u00faa como perif\u00e9rico (esclavo). Primero, damos una descripci\u00f3n general del procedimiento de conexi\u00f3n BLE. En segundo lugar, hablamos de los factores del protocolo GATT (Perfil de atributo gen\u00e9rico), ATT_MTU, extensi\u00f3n de longitud de datos e intervalo de conexi\u00f3n. Realizaci\u00f3n de experimentos para ver c\u00f3mo estos factores afectan el rendimiento. Finalmente, bas\u00e1ndonos en estos experimentos, mostramos c\u00f3mo optimizar para obtener el m\u00e1ximo rendimiento de datos en BLE 5.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/br><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00aeef; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">II - Canales de frecuencia y pila BLE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">SoftDevice S140 es una caracter\u00edstica completa de pila de protocolos calificados por Bluetooth 5 para el SoC nRF52840. El S140 SoftDevice es una soluci\u00f3n de pila de protocolos Bluetooth de bajo consumo central y perif\u00e9rico. El S140 SoftDevice integra un controlador y host Bluetooth Low Energy y proporciona una API flexible para construir soluciones SoC Bluetooth Low Energy nRF52X. El desarrollo y el experimento se basan en nRF5_SDK V15.3.0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/br><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.engeniustech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/techpaper-9-1.jpg\" width=\"100%\" class=\"center\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">BLE usa los canales 0-36 para la transmisi\u00f3n de datos (naranja claro en la imagen de abajo) mientras que los canales 37, 38 y 39 se usan como canales publicitarios (rosa en la imagen de abajo).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.engeniustech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/techpaper-9-2.jpg\" width=\"100%\" class=\"center\"><br \/>\n<br \/><\/br><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00aeef; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">III - Procedimiento de conexi\u00f3n BLE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/br><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.engeniustech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/techpaper-9-3.jpg\" width=\"100%\" class=\"center\"><br \/>\n<br \/><\/br><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">Si la central encuentra el perif\u00e9rico con un nombre espec\u00edfico, enviar\u00e1 una solicitud de conexi\u00f3n al perif\u00e9rico. Una vez conectados, el cliente y el servidor GATT intercambiar\u00e1n par\u00e1metros, incluidos ATT_MTU, extensi\u00f3n de longitud de datos y tasa PHY.<\/span><br \/>\n<br \/><\/br><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00aeef; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">IV - Configuraci\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros GATT <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">Tama\u00f1o de ATT_MTU:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">La Unidad de transmisi\u00f3n m\u00e1xima de atributos (ATT_MTU) define la cantidad de datos que un dispositivo puede enviar \/ recibir por operaci\u00f3n GATT. La MTU predeterminada es de 23 bytes y se puede aumentar a 247 bytes. Al aumentar este valor, se pueden lograr cargas \u00fatiles m\u00e1s largas enviando varios paquetes en una transacci\u00f3n. Para maximizar el uso de la Extensi\u00f3n de longitud de datos, la MTU siempre debe establecerse en (Longitud m\u00e1xima de datos - 4). Esto significa que para la longitud m\u00e1xima de datos de 251, la MTU \u00f3ptima para establecer es 247 bytes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">Extensi\u00f3n de longitud de datos (DLE):<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">La funci\u00f3n de extensi\u00f3n de longitud de datos permite que el controlador LE env\u00ede unidades de paquetes de datos (PDU) con cargas \u00fatiles de hasta 251 bytes. La extensi\u00f3n de longitud de datos utiliza paquetes m\u00e1s grandes para que se puedan enviar m\u00e1s datos en un paquete, aumentando el rendimiento. El nRF52840 admite el aumento de la longitud del paquete de datos desde el valor predeterminado 27 hasta el valor m\u00e1ximo permitido por la especificaci\u00f3n de Bluetooth, que es de 251 bytes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">Velocidad de datos de la capa f\u00edsica (PHY):<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">La velocidad de datos por aire sol\u00eda estar limitada a 1 Mbps en BLE. Sin embargo, Bluetooth 5 tiene velocidades de datos m\u00e1s altas para lograr una transmisi\u00f3n m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y usa PHY codificado para transmisiones de largo alcance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">Intervalo de conexi\u00f3n: <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">Un intervalo de conexi\u00f3n BLE es el tiempo entre dos eventos de transferencia de datos (eventos de conexi\u00f3n) entre el dispositivo central y el perif\u00e9rico. Al aumentar este valor, se pueden enviar m\u00e1s paquetes en un intervalo, pero si se pierde un paquete, la espera hasta la retransmisi\u00f3n es m\u00e1s larga. Este retraso provocar\u00e1 un rendimiento m\u00e1s lento. Cuando el valor del intervalo de conexi\u00f3n es mayor, el rendimiento es peor. El nivel para establecer el intervalo de conexi\u00f3n depende de la p\u00e9rdida de paquetes y del efecto ambiental.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/br><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.5em\">Optimizaci\u00f3n para el m\u00e1ximo rendimiento de datos<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">Activar siempre DLE<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: .8em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em; margin-left: 27px;\">- Si est\u00e1 utilizando Bluetooth v4.1 o anterior, esta no es una opci\u00f3n v\u00e1lida.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">Utilice LE 2M PHY<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: .8em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em; margin-left: 27px;\">- Si sabe que los dispositivos en ambos extremos son compatibles con BLE 5, elegir LE 2M PHY es una de las mejores formas de maximizar el rendimiento de los datos de su aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">Utilice el valor m\u00e1ximo de ATT MTU de 247 bytes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 1.0em; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5em\">El par\u00e1metro de intervalo de conexi\u00f3n depende del entorno de prueba.
