EnGenius Five-Year Limited Hardware Warranty Terms
The following are terms applicable to your EnGenius Cloud hardware limited warranty. The EnGenius Cloud part number prefixes include ESG, ECW, ECS, ECP, and EXT. The 5-year hardware limited warranty applies retroactively from January 1st, 2024. Your embedded software is subject to the EnGenius Networks Private Limited-India.

Replacement, Repair, or Refund Procedure for Hardware
EnGenius Networks Private Limited will use commercially reasonable efforts to ship a replacement part within ten (10) working days after receipt of the RMA request. Actual delivery times may vary depending on Customer’s location.
Limited Hardware Warranty
Hardware
EnGenius Networks Private Limited selling the Product (“EnGenius Cloud”) warrants that commencing from the date of invoice to Customer (and in case of resale by an EnGenius Networks Private Limited reseller, commencing not more than ninety (90) days after original invoice by EnGenius Networks Private Limited), and continuing for a period of the longer of (a) ninety (90) days or (b) as otherwise, the Hardware will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use. The date of invoice for a Product by EnGenius Networks Private Limited is set forth on the invoice in which the Product is invoiced. This limited warranty extends only to the original user of the Product. Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy and the entire liability of EnGenius Networks Private Limited and its suppliers under this limited warranty will be, at EnGenius Networks Private Limited, shipment of a replacement within the warranty period and according to the replacement process as described on the EnGenius Networks Private Limited. EnGenius Networks Private Limited replacement parts used in Hardware replacement may be new or equivalent to new. EnGenius Networks Private Limited’s obligations hereunder are conditioned upon the return of affected Hardware by EnGenius Networks Private Limited’s then-current Return Material Authorization (RMA) procedures.
Restrictions
This limited warranty does not apply if the Hardware (a) has been altered, except by EnGenius Networks Private Limited or its authorized representative, (b) has not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained in accordance with instructions = supplied by EnGenius Networks Private Limited, (c) has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress, abnormal environmental conditions, misuse, negligence, or accident; or (d) is licensed for beta, evaluation, testing or demonstration purposes.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, AND WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, NON-INTERFERENCE, ACCURACY OF INFORMATIONAL CONTENT, OR ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING, LAW, USAGE, OR TRADE PRACTICE, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY ENGENIUS NETWORKS PRIVATE LIMITED, ITS SUPPLIERS AND LICENSORS. TO THE EXTENT AN IMPLIED WARRANTY CAN NOT BE EXCLUDED, SUCH WARRANTY IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD. BECAUSE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY. THESE WARRANTIES GIVE CUSTOMERS SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND CUSTOMERS MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION. This disclaimer and exclusion shall apply even if the express warranty set forth above fails of its essential purpose.
Limitations and Exclusions of Liability
In no event will EnGenius Networks Private Limited or its licensors be liable for the following, regardless of the theory of liability or whether arising out of the use or inability to use the Hardware or otherwise, even if a party has been advised of the possibility of such damages: (a) indirect, incidental, exemplary, special or consequential damages; (b) loss or corruption of data or interrupted or loss of business; or (c) loss of revenue, profits, goodwill or anticipated sales or savings. All liability of EnGenius Networks Private Limited, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors collectively, to Customer, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the license fees paid by Customer to any Approved Source for the Hardware that gave rise to the claim. This limitation of liability for Hardware is cumulative and not per incident. Nothing in this limited warranty limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Return Material Authorizations
To Receive a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Number:
- Please contact EnGenius Networks Private Limited Tech Support by phone to start validation of your warranty claim.
- To obtain a directory of toll-free EnGenius Networks Private Limited Tech Support telephone numbers for India is 1800-571-8899. If you are instructed to return your product under the terms of your warranty and issued an RMA Number, follow these steps:
- Return the unit to EnGenius Networks Private Limited as instructed.
- Your unit will be replaced per the applicable warranty guidelines.
Important Note
All material returned to EnGenius Networks Private Limited must be accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. This number is necessary so that the factory can ensure proper tracking and handling of returned material.
If you do not have an RMA number, EnGenius Networks Private Limited reserves the right to refuse receipt of returned units.
Limited Warranty Information for India
New, serialized product
EnGenius Networks Private Limited warrants new and serialized EnGenius branded hardware products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the Warranty Period, which begins on the date of purchase by the original end-user purchaser and lasts for One (1) Year. This limited warranty is non-transferable and extends only to the original end-user purchaser. Your exclusive remedy and EnGenius Networks Private Limited’s entire liability under this limited warranty will be for EnGenius Networks Private Limited, at its sole option, to (a) repair the product with new or refurbished parts or (b) replace the product with a reasonably available equivalent new or refurbished EnGenius Networks Private Limited product. Any repaired or replacement products will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or Ninety (90) days after receipt of the repaired or replacement product(s), whichever is longer. All products and parts that are replaced become the property of EnGenius Networks Private Limited.
New, non-serialized product
EnGenius Networks Private Limited warrants new and non-serialized telecom products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the Warranty Period, which begins on the date of purchase by the original end-user
purchaser and lasts for the period of Ninety (90) days.
Refurbished, serialized product
EnGenius Networks Private Limited warrants refurbished and serialized products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the Warranty Period, which begins on the date of purchase by the original end-user purchaser and lasts for the period of Ninety (90) days or the end of the original warranty period, whichever is longer.
Firmware / Software
EnGenius Networks Private Limited does not warrant the firmware/software that comes with or is downloaded to the EnGenius product. EnGenius firmware/software is licensed to the original end-user purchaser provided it was purchased from EnGenius or an EnGenius authorized reseller. Limitations, Exclusions of Service, and Voiding of Warranty The above-limited warranty does not extend to any EnGenius product that is not purchased from EnGenius Networks Private Limited. www.engeniustech.com or contact us at 1800-571-8899. Products that are not sold from EnGenius Networks Private Limited. to their authorized channel partners are not covered by this limit warranty. This limited warranty does not apply if: (a) the product assembly seal has been removed or damaged, (b) the product has been altered or modified, except by EnGenius Networks Private Limited, (c) the product damage was caused by use with non-EnGenius Networks Private Limited products, (d) the product has not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained per instructions supplied by EnGenius Networks Private Limited, (e) the product has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress, misuse, negligence, or accident, (f) the serial number on the Product has been altered, defaced, or removed, or (g) the product is supplied or licensed for beta, evaluation, testing or demonstration purposes for which EnGenius Networks Private Limited does not charge a purchase price or license fee.
ALL SOFTWARE PROVIDED BY ENGENIUS NETWORKS PRIVATE LIMITED WITH THE PRODUCT, WHETHER FACTORY
LOADED ON THE PRODUCTOR CONTAINED ON MEDIA ACCOMPANYING THE PRODUCT, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Without limiting the foregoing, EnGenius Networks Private Limited does not warrant that the operation of the product or software will be uninterrupted or error-free. Also, due to the continual development of new techniques for intruding upon and attacking networks, EnGenius Networks Private Limited does not warrant that the product, software, or any equipment, system, or network on which the product or software is used will be free of vulnerability to intrusion or attack. The product may include or be bundled with third-party software or service offerings. This limited warranty shall not apply to such third-party software or service offerings. This limited warranty does not guarantee any continued availability of a third party’s service for which this product’s use or operation may require.
THE FOREGOING IS THE COMPLETE WARRANTY FOR ENGENIUS PRODUCTS PURCHASED IN INDIA AND SUPERCEDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN. EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ANDTOTHE FURTHESTEXTENTALLOWED BY LAW, ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, AND WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, NON INTERFERENCE, ACCURACY OF INFORMATIONAL CONTENT, ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING, LAW, USAGE, OR TRADE PRACTICE, IS NOW EXCLUDED AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY ENGENIUS NETWORKS PRIVATE LIMITED ITS SUPPLIERS AND LICENSORS. THE EXTENT IMPLIED WARRANTY CAN NOT BE EXCLUDED, SUCH WARRANTY IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction. ALSO TO THE FURTHEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ENGENIUS NETWORKS PRIVATE LIMITED BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFIT, OR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT (INCLUDING ANY SOFTWARE), EVEN IF ENGENIUS NETWORKS PRIVATE LIMITED HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NOEVENT ENGENIUS NETWORKS PRIVATE LIMITED LIABILITY EXCEEDS THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. The foregoing limitations will apply even if any warranty or remedy provided under this limited warranty fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. If any provisions of this limited warranty should be or become invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining terms and conditions shall be construed in such a manner as to be valid and enforceable. You are responsible for properly packaging and shipping your product to EnGenius Networks Private Limited at your cost and risk. You must include the RMA number and a copy of your dated proof of original purchase when returning your product. Products received
without an RMA number and dated proof of original purchase will be rejected. Do not include any other items with the product you are returning to EnGenius Networks Private Limited. Defective products covered by this limited warranty will be repaired or replaced and returned to you without charge. Customers outside of India are responsible for all shipping and handling charges, customs duties, VAT, and other associated taxes and charges. Repairs or replacements not covered under this limited warranty will be subject to charge at EnGenius Networks Private Limited’s then-current rates.
