Eden Garden is an exclusive shopping mall and entertainment center located in an area of Phnom Penh City in Cambodia best known for its high-end stores and restaurants.
The 10,000 square foot space houses many attractions including the Lobster Bay seafood restaurant, Yellow Cab Pizza Co., Dim Sum Emperors Cantonese restaurant, Legend Cinemas, Epic 2 Club, and even a Starbucks.
The Need
Eden Garden is one of only a handful of businesses in a roughly 187-acre area of land development with enormous growth potential. Eden Garden is positioned to set the tone for the quality of the technological infrastructure the shopping district will enjoy.
One building sits in the center of the complex while several other buildings line the outskirts of the city block. The mall also has a host of greenery and water fountains scattered throughout. The challenge lay in providing sufficient network coverage around these obstacles and the thick walls of the buildings.
The property managers wanted complete Wi-Fi coverage for the entire area of Eden Garden Mall with centralized, on-premises network management capabilities. They also wanted on-premises control of the configuring, monitoring, and managing of a network designed to meet the needs of customers enjoying a one-stop experience for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
The Solution
EnGenius deployed its EnSky mesh solution, which included a set of outdoor access points and adapters, which were linked using the SkyKey on-premises controller. The network would be managed using the license-free ezMaster network management software for configuration and maintenance.

The Result
Eden Garden Mall hosts visitors from all over the globe as well as local residents. Its reputation rests on the quality of the full guest experience, including reliable internet access. After the EnSky solution was installed, both staff and guests alike experienced high quality, seamless Wi-Fi connection.
The solution provided solid network connectivity through access points placed strategically throughout the property, adapters hard-wired to the APs to provide power, and a switch/SkyKey connection to allow management and monitoring of all network devices.
