Nestled in a secluded bay close to pristine offshore islands and in the shadow of the awe-inspiring Rinjani volcano, The Kayana Beach Lombok Resort offers a combination of unparalleled exclusivity, tranquility, and seclusion to its guests.
The resort is located in Senggigi, Indonesia, one of several popular tourist strips on the island of Lombok stretching for several miles along the beachfront just to the north of the Mataram capital.
The Need
Initially, the 25-acre Kayana Lombok Resort had seen some wear over the years and did not have adequate Wi-Fi coverage for the property.
Then in 2019, management decided to completely refurbish the entire resort and implement a Wi-Fi solution capable of delivering seamless uninterrupted Wi-Fi for staff and guests. This included coverage for the beach and hillside homes, cozy villas, swimming pool, wellness facilities, restaurants, and surrounding beaches.
Administrators also wanted a solution that allowed fast deployment and configuration as well as centralized network management of network devices for monitoring and troubleshooting.
The Solution
After some consideration, resort management settled on the ezMaster network management suite, complete with a large deployment of indoor and outdoor access points and several gigabit PoE+ switches provided with no license or subscription fee.

Once the system was configured, installed, and tested, visitors and staff of the resort began to enjoy complete, seamless coverage immediately throughout the property.
In addition, IT staff could achieve complete network visibility using the ezMaster network management system, which allows for the configuration and maintenance of thousands of devices and utilizes a network controller for remote monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
