EnGenius ENH200EXT is a high power long range wireless Access point/bridge operates on 2.4GHz band with 500mW power output and up to 150 Mbps maximum wireless date rate.

Featuring highly secure WPA/WPA2, WEP encryption and MAC address filter ensure an uncompromised network security. With a SMA connector on board and a SMA-N-type converter cable, it works with EnGenius EAG2408 omni directional high gain attenna* as well as any antenna with N type female connector. The installer can have the antenna of choice to create wireless network connection with miles in range**.

Designed for outdoor application, the IP65 rated device is great for high-speed wireless Internet access, connecting outdoor IP camera, connecting multiple buildings’ networks. The package also comes with PoE kit, pole mount kit. With available RSSI signal strength LED, making the installation of ENH200 easier than ever.

Troubleshooting FAQs

The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.
You need to attach an external antenna to the antenna connector. You can use an N type external cable connects to the conversion cable included in the package, and connect the conversion cable to the on-board connector.
You need to plug the Ethernet cable connect to PoE injector, and connect the power adapter comes with the package to the “DC IN” port on the PoE injector.
The ENH200EXT uses a proprietary PoE injector and will not work with standard 802.3af-compliant PoE switches.

The ENH200EXT does not have an internal antenna but provide an external RP-SMA connector next to the Ethernet port. The package also include a SMA - N type conversion cable. Use the device as an access point, you need to decide whether you need an external directional atenna or omni directional antenna. You need to buy the antenna with the right gain number for your project. Whether it will be directional or omni directional antenna, it needs to have a N type female adapter to work with ENH200EXT.
The reason why the two other ENH200s can get good connections with the ENH200EXT because all three devices have 500mW power output with either built-in or attached high-gain antennas. Your laptop might have a wireless module with regular power (40-70mW). Therefore, the laptop does not have enough power to shoot the signal back to the ENH200EXT to keep the connection up. We recommend EnGenius EUB9603_H to be the client for your laptop. The EUB has high power output.
